Theology
SATURDAY, MAY 10, 9 AM–5 PM, PORTLAND, OR
The ReGeneration Project is a ministry of Western Seminary
Never before has there been so much confusion about the Bible, church, and historic Christian beliefs. So much of this is coming from TikTok and social media, where younger generations are seeking answers.
Join us for a full day of training where we will address many of the big questions such as:
Is the Bible and the church anti-women?
If God is real and good, why is there so much pain and suffering?
Have we been interpreting the Bible wrong about homosexuality and gender?
The spiritual realm of tarot cards, horoscopes, and Wicca seems exciting to explore. Is it wrong?
Church hurts people – why go anymore?
And more to be announced!
Saturday, May 10
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All registrations include lunch. Group rates are available.
Lab Topics
9:00–10:15 AM Main Session 1: The Importance of Theological Thinking and What New Generations Believe
10:30–11:45 AM Labs
The titles of the Labs are the confusing type of questions and criticisms that arise on social media. We will be responding to these questions with solid biblical answers.
Understanding
Gen Z

If God is real and loving, why does He allow so much pain and suffering?
#Suffering
The Bible is filled with verses such as “women be silent” and “submit” and teaches a culture of misogyny and demeaning women.
#AntiWomen
Gender is a fluid social construct, and it is ignorant to define people as only male and female by their bodies and associated stereotypes.
#Gender
Have we been interpreting the Bible wrong about homosexuality?
#LoveisLove
Churches constantly wound people and we don’t need church, only Jesus.
#ChurchHurt
Just partner with the universe, focus your energy, and your dream of the perfect life is at your fingertips.
#Manifestation
